What’s in My February Ipsy Glam Bag?

I love having something to look forward to in the post each month, instead of letters telling me how much money I owe. This is a nice treat! Ipsy cheers me up! More makeup, more beauty products, all for $10 a month. I just love it.

For February, instead of a sporty looking bag like January’s, we have a nice sophisticated baby pink bag with lace trimming at the top. Super cute. Unfortunately mine came with a mark on the front, so I’ll have to throw it in the wash.

So here is what’s in my February Glam Bag.

Please note that not all these products are for sale on the Ipsy website, so I linked you to each company website. Except for a couple.

Macaroon Lip Balm in Lemongrass and Green Tea

Okay, so today when I was sat in traffic, I applied the rest of the last lip balm that Ipsy had sent me months ago and I thought, “Dang, I hope they send me a new one” and look, THEY DID!

I had to Google half the ingredients just to check that it is in fact a cruelty-free product and I’m happy to say, that it is! I love Lemon Grass and I love Green Tea. This lip balm smells lovely and I’ve just applied some and my lips feel better already. The whole “Macaroon” thing though makes me hungry! I believe the company is based in London.

You can purchase this lipbalm on their website for $4.19

Eyeshadow in Sweet Taffy

Sometimes I’m happy to get eyeshadow samples. Today I wasn’t all that excited, just because I have so many new ones, I would have liked a new lip colour or eyeliner but this eyeshadow is quite nice. It has gold flecks in it which makes it shimmery and it is super pigmented, which I love.

This eyeshadow costs $14.99 and you can purchase it over at the Beaute Basics website

Propolis 80 Cream

I’m confused to why Ipsy sent me this, knowing I’m into vegan and cruelty-free products.

  • It’s infused with antioxidant-filled propolis extract (a therapeutic natural mixture created by bees), which helps improve your skin’s elasticity and texture

Anything produced by bees is not vegan, so I won’t be using this. I’ll have to log back in to my Ipsy account and see if I can mess with the settings, so this doesn’t happen again.
I tried to research the company but I couldn’t find much on it. But if you want to try it you can purchase it on Amazon or Ebay for $9.00

Radiant Glow Highlighter in 24k Magic

I was excited for this and I still am, although I just did a little swatch test on my arm and the highlighter isn’t as shimmery and as pigmented as I’d have liked it to be. Seeing as the name of the product is “24 Magic” I thought it would be one of those in your face, blinding highlighters but I guess not. Regardless, it will get used. Maybe it will look better on my cheek bones as apposed to my old looking tattooed arms that I used to swatch it.

You can purchase this little cutie over at IBY Beauty for $12.99

Blending and Shading Eye Brush 249

I welcome this with open arms. I love new makeup brushes, especially if they are for blending eyeshadow! I’m excited to use this one. I’ll have to use it tomorrow and let you know. I think I only own one other Luxie makeup brush and I think I got it from an Ipsy Glam Bag too. Anyway, I’m super happy I got this.

I do not see this specific brush on the Luxie website but you can check out all the other brushes similar to it.

So that is it for this month. I can’t wait until March’s bag. I hate waiting. Makeup excites me and I’m always happy to try new products out and also add to my collection.

What did you get in your Ipsy Glam Bag this month? Let me know in the comments. Do you have any of the products I received? What’s your opinion on each one? Let me know 🙂

Thank you for reading.
