A Few Pictures From My Week

I take so many pictures. Some of them make it to Instagram or Facebook but not a lot make it to my blog and there are many that only get looked at when I’m scrolling through my pictures. There is no point in them just sitting on my phone or laptop. I like sharing. So, I’m going to try to do a weekly picture roundup. This is my first one, so enjoy!

Sulky chops

I’m not sure what Izzy was sulking at. Maybe it was the fact that I kept following her around with a camera. Cutie.

No glasses, no thanks!

I intended on uploading this to Instagram as one of my makeup selfies but I’m so used to seeing myself with glasses on that I think I look a bit funny with them off now. I kinda like hiding behind them. Women!

Mr. Show Off

If you’re following me on Instagram, you may have already seen this picture. This was taken at Forever Florida, where we went with the kids the other evening. This guy was showing off to other male’s. I’m not a fan of birds, but I love peacock colours.

Β Wild night out

Okay this picture was taken in the daylight and it wasn’t a night out, but it was wild in the sense that we got to see some animals? Izzy loved going on the airboat ride because she got to see some huge alligators and JJ enjoyed my story of how I got bitten by a parrot when I was his age. I had the scar to show him and everything. This was just before he went to climb the fence to get closer to the animals, so I guess my story wasn’t that scary! Crazy boy. I enjoyed taking them out. Just love them so much.

On the farm

I took this as I was driving into the farm, just to practice focusing on my new camera. I thought it would make a cute picture, especially with the barn in the background, which is out of focus.

Poorly Cassie

This is my horse, hiding behind a tub of Bute which is pain killers for horses. She’s had an injury in her foot since last November when she stood on a nail and for some reason, I cannot get it to heal. I’ve tried almost everything, so my farrier advised me to get an x-ray done so we can determine why it isn’t healing. The vet comes out to see her this Thursday. I’m feeling very sorry for her, and of course, she’s feeling very sorry for herself.

Yard sale helpers

My kids were up and raring to go this morning. The community yard sale was going on and Isabelle was determine to attract customers with her signs, which she did and we managed to make almost $100.

Big girl

Anyone following me on Twitter may have seen my tweet about Abigail eating big girl food. She’s all of a sudden decided baby food isn’t good enough and turned onto stuff like Heinz baked beans, sweet potatoes and peas, mash and sweet corn and she even helped me devour a veggie burger the other day. She’s growing so fast. Ima need her to slow down just a little.

Fun for the kids

Today I took the kids to a little theme park, as a thank you for helping me with the yard sale. It was hot, it was packed, I wanted to shoot myself but they had fun and that’s all that matters.

Emilia Grace

My cousin, Martin and his wife Christy just welcomed their first child. She’s absolutely gorgeous and I cannot wait to meet her. I’m so happy for them.

Cuddles with my girl

Cuddling this beautiful human is my favourite thing to do.

Time with my girl

I look daft as hell, but look how beautiful she is πŸ™‚

Love the lips

The quality of this picture is terrible because it came off my Instagram story but I love this colour lipstick from Elf. It’s one of the day to night duo lipsticks which I’m obsessed with lately.

Horsing around

HA HA HA! Horsing around, get it? LAME! <— Oh there’s another one. Lame, as in a horse when it’s limping. Oh god, I’m done. I need to go to bed. Anyway, it’s been almost a week now since I moved my horse to her new farm. The other day I got to go out there without the kids and hang out for a bit. This was the only horse who would stand still for a picture. I don’t know her name.

That’s it for this week. Thank you for reading. Have a great Sunday!
