Hi lovelies, I hope everyone had a good Easter. Abbey and I enjoyed a nice quiet day together. I can’t believe another week has gone by. It’s time for my weekly picture roundup, so here goes!
I dyed my hair today. I took it down a couple of shades of blonde. I wish I could have smiled for this picture but I was feeling a little sad as it was right at that moment, I realised that this week is the last week of my twenties. I’m not ready to turn 30.
This is a picture of my horse, having an x-ray of her foot taken. It was difficult getting her foot on that white block because she was in pain. Luckily, there’s nothing serious going on with it. She just has a really deep abscess from a nail she stood on in November 2017. It will take some time and effort to get the infection out. The Vet did notice that she has Ring Bone in that foot too, which is Osteroarthritis that progresses over time. It broke my heart to think about never riding her properly again, but she’s on some great joint supplements and I will take great care of that leg. I’ll probably go into more detail about that soon.
The children are at their father’s house this weekend, so on Friday we did an Easter Egg hunt. I LOVE Easter, I think it’s my favourite holiday and I’m not even religious. I just really enjoy watching the kids running around with massive smiles on their faces, looking for eggs. It’s exciting for them. Any holiday is joyful because of the kids. I love them.
This is a picture I took of some lights that my mum has on one of her palm trees outside her house. This is unedited.
This is one of the horses at my new barn. Her owner Sandi is super sweet and knows that I can’t ride my horse, so while she was finishing up some barn work the other day, she let me hop on her horse for a bit. It felt so good to be able to ride, even if it wasn’t for long. Kept me smiling all day.
Romantic Meal For Two
This is my horse Cassie and her gentleman friend, Freebie sharing some soaked Alfalfa Cubes.
I felt like making some colourful pancakes this morning. I made Abbey some too, minus the sugar haha.
I’m sure there will be a cuddles picture on every weekly picture roundup. That’s okay though, right? We love snuggles.
Izzy is the only one of my children who will happily stay still while I take a picture 🙂
Self explanatory. I like flowers.
Abigail’s 1st Easter
I had a nice day with this cutie today. She had absolutely no idea that it was Easter of course, but it meant something for me. Next up is 1st Birthday arghhhh!
Well that’s it for this week. Thank you for reading. I hope everyone has a fantastic week.
