My Weekly Picture Roundup 04/22/18 – 05/05/18

Hi y’all. I hope you’ve had a great week and are enjoying the weekend. I haven’t done my weekly picture roundup for a few weeks now. I’ve been rather busy with my trip to Alabama, my son’s birthday and keeping up with other mum duties. I’m going to post a few of my favourites from the past two weeks. Some are taken with my Nikon and some are taken with my iPhone. I’ve put in the captions which ones are which, so here’s my weekly picture roundup from April 22nd – May 5th!

Jaxon James Turns Five

My beautiful son turned 5 last week. We rented out a huge water slide bouncy castle for the entire weekend which the kids loved. I know every parent says this about their own kids but I cannot believe how fast JJ is growing. I’m so proud of him. He’s really excited to start school at the end of summer and has been begging to go for the past few weeks. I’m going to cry on his first day, I know it. I’ll probably refuse to leave the school when he goes into class. Anyway, here are some photos from his birthday.

Wedding Photos

This is the first wedding I took my Nikon to. I don’t have a flashy lens yet (no pun intended, I swear), so I had to work with what I’ve got. Congratulations to my friend Kimberly and her man for finally tying the knot. They have a beautiful family together already and it was wonderful seeing them enjoy their special night ❀

Horsin’ Around

Last week, I got the all clear to start riding my horse again. After six months of dealing with her foot injury that wouldn’t heal properly, it’s finally over!!! You don’t know how happy this makes me. Last week, I rode her twice. We didn’t overdo it, but she definitely had a lot of pent up energy she was ready to get out. I could tell she felt good, so keeping her as collected as possible, I let her go for it. She enjoyed every second of the ride and so did I. A couple of months ago she was diagnosed with Ring Bone which is basically Osteoarthritis in her leg. Although it isn’t serious, it does progress but I’ve been told as long as I take it easy on her, I don’t have to stop riding. She’s also on a very expensive joint medication which seems to be working well. This was such great news because the day we had her x-rays done, I went home crying my eyes out thinking I’d never get to ride her again. I’m probably a little dramatic but she’s my baby and I’ve had her a long time so shhh πŸ™‚

That’s pretty much all I have for this week. Most of them are already up on social media but for anyone who isn’t on social media or doesn’t have me added, I hope you enjoyed. Next week’s roundup will be Sum 41 themed, as on Monday I’m going watching them πŸ™‚

Thank you for reading.
