My Weight Loss Journey – Week 4

My kids are arguing over their tablets this morning and the baby is grumpy. On top of that, I’m a nervous wreck because JJ starts school on Monday, so I’m going to keep this one short. I’m not feeling it. But today marks four weeks since I started my new journey into a healthier lifestyle. Four weeks and I feel good, I feel more confident, I feel like I won’t give up. This is my new life and I’ll gladly stick to it. It’s made me happier.

I did not reach my goal this week. My goal was 4lbs and I’ve only lost 2lbs. I haven’t tried AS hard but I’m not mad or upset about it. At least I’ve lost something.

I’ve been doing a mixture of running and kettlebells this week. I haven’t been enjoying my exercise machine as much. Feel like a hamster on a wheel on that thing sometimes. I feel like I get a more intense and interesting workout with the kettlebells. I’m really enjoying them, especially when I push myself and feel the burn the next day. I love that 🙂 One thing I have noticed is that my cardio is improving. I’m able to run faster for longer distances and that’s what I wanted to work towards, so I’m going to keep pushing.

Weight lost this week – 2lbs

Total weight lost since day one – 8lbs

Goal for this week – 3lbs
